Davin Harding goes for a big ride - a very big ride
Davin Harding, who qualified in Pole Position for Revolve24 Australia, and then put in 648km over the 24 hour Challenge, has decided to go a bit further. Quite a bit further, more than 8,000km and you can follow his progress. Let’s hear from Davin:
“I can't get faster so I'll go further ...
Monday 2 July is the day I ride off on the next big adventure leaving the comfort of my warm bed, cosy Ugg boots, say good-bye to my wife and son, having said goodbye to my daughter days ago as she flew off to Kenya.
In 2017 I rode across Australia in the very first Indian Pacific Wheel Race, so now I'll ride from Salisbury through the guts of the country northwards to the tippity top Cape York, then turn around and ride home the easy way on bitumen.
The past 12 months have been spent planning, purchasing, researching, testing every little detail to hopefully make for a successful ride. Details of what I'm riding, what equipment I'm using and my ride posts can be found on my Facebook page Davin Harding #900pumps.
Why? Why not!
Rules? Only one - return home safely.
How Long? However long it takes, maybe 2-3 months.
Support? Just me and my tunes and a Spot Tracker.
Cost? Lets not go there!
Route? 8236.9km head over to my Facebook page I have posted the route there.
Equipment? it's all there at Davin Harding #900pumps”Back to R24 CC
