We have developed, with Map My Tracks, an App that is free to download on the App Store and Google Play, which will allow people to track their teams individual and collective progress around the race track live on race day.
It's also about a bit of fun and by linking with your training ride data we will place you on the grid - depending how much practice you put in of course! Will you get to start on Pole Position and be in Pit Garage number 1?
By linking your GPS performance data from training rides, grid positions will be calculated based on the miles covered, feet climbed and average speed achieved, averaged out across the team members.
The app is now available to all competitors and supporters and allows teams and individuals to see how well they are fairing against the competition and start planning their strategy for the 24 hour relay race. Upon receipt of your registration you will receive an invite with instructions to download the App and join in the fun!
Once the Challange starts real-time performance data, individual and team tracking information will be available enabling competitors to know where they stand in the race for King or Queen of The Mountains, Fastest Lap, Category Champions and Overall Winners.
The Race App, which provides a social network for riders and competitors, will also keep you in touch with the latest event news through notifications as well as training tips and offers from Revolve24 partners.
